
MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Position requires an engineer
with a well rounded personality having sound knowledge of
Mechanical
(Industrial) Engineering, design and
application.
Essential
Functions:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the
following:
·Assume the lead engineer’s role on
assigned projects.
·Plan, schedule, execute and
coordinate program of assigned engineering work
in design,
assembly production and projects installation.
·Ensure proper
coordination and effective communication, internally and
with the clients, on
projects execution, including but not
limited to preparing reports.
·Able to
read,
understand and prepare mechanical engineering drawings, sectional drawing
and Approved for Construction ( AFC ) drawings.
·To
prepare, review and
upgrade mechanical components (
materials selection and drawings ) for CD92
Homogenizer
and its auxiliaries.
·To ensure that mechanical components are
manufactured and assembled according to given
specifications.
·Understood
materials codes, grades,
manufacturing tolerances and mechanical properties of
ferrous & non-ferrous materials.
·Sound knowledge
of heat transfers
across fluid / solid medium and boiler
systems.
·Exposure in the functions of
rotary machines
( centrifugal pumps, compressors, blowers and turbines
system ) fluid dynamics ( turbulence & laminar flow )
and strength of
materials.
·Able to read, interpret
piping & fittings symbols and
functions.
·Able to
do identify and calculate head losses in the piping
system
·To actively involves in continual improvement
activities
·To
facilitate and conduct test run on all
products assembled and manufactured by
the
company.
·Monitoring production and project control, cost estimates,
quantity take-offs and components forecasts.
·Job will
generally be
performed in an office and factory
environment.
·To comply to all working
terms and
conditions set upon by the
company
Requirements:
·Diploma/Degree in
Mechanical/Materials/Marine Engineering or
equivalent.
·1 - 5 years working
exposure in Mechanical
or Production functions in manufacturing and assembling
environment in small medium size companies with multi
tasking job
responsibilities.
·Fresh local graduates
with a minimum of 3.0 CGPA score
are encouraged to apply.
For British universities graduates, a Second Class (
Lower
) honours is acceptable.
·Good to excellent computer word
processing and spreadsheet skill level. Ability to operate
autoCad design
software is a must.
·Good to excellent
command of English. Must possess good
communication and
presentation skills. Knowing German language is an advantage
but not necessarily essential.
·Candidates must be
willing to work and
travel to the job sites including
overseas for installation and troubleshooting
work
assignments.
·Candidates must be hands on, independent and willing to
work on extended hours. He must be physically healthy.
